Your genres tell us what you actually play, and they shape what Dig shows you by default — so it's worth setting them.
You edit them in the app under Settings → Profile, in the genres/style section. Pick the styles you spin, then save.
Setting genres won't lock anything off. Every genre group is still one chip-rail click away in Dig, and you can change your picks any time.
