Alpha Faktion - The Lineage (Dirty)

Upstate New York rap crew Alpha Faktion deliver their latest release, "The Lineage," off their debut album Creative Control. "The Lineage" embraces the roots of hip-hop, which comes as no surprise since the track is produced by living legend Marley Marl.

Alpha Faktion is made up of Azwun, Kraze ILLA, and DJ Enyoutee. Together, the trio have created an absolute banger that doesn't sacrifice substance for sound. Quick and smart flows are highlighted by excellent production, which features looping violins and head-knocking percussion.

"The Lineage" pays tribute to the Golden Era of hip-hop, but still feels incredibly fresh. Don't sleep on this one.
